However, when he moved to Lombok in 2022, he didn’t find a single café providing such facilities. His hope is that by presenting board games, visitors can once again enjoy the fun of interaction and togetherness without relying on gadgets.

Cafe Sambal Bakar Sultan first opened in December 2022. Since then, it has become a favorite hangout spot for many visitors and board game communities in Mataram and the surrounding areas.

Cafe Sambal Bakar Sultan is open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, making it a great place for lunch and evening hangouts with family and friends.

For community groups, they tend to come in the late afternoon or evening during weekdays. During weekends, the place is often crowded since opening hours with junior high, high school, and university students.
