This stretch of coastline is a treasure chest of quiet beaches, cliff viewpoints, sea waterfalls, mangroves, and tiny villages where you can drink local coffee with someone’s grandmother. And the best part? Most travelers miss it entirely.
So grab your motorbike or car (plus sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, water, and an offline Google Map, because we’re going rural-rural), and let’s explore the wild, glorious coastline.
1. Serangan–Torok Viewpoint: The “Are You Kidding Me?” Moment
Your adventure kicks off with a jaw-dropping viewpoint between Serangan and Torok. Park your bike, take a breath, and prepare to question your life choices (like why you don’t live here permanently). Rolling hills, turquoise water, and not a single tour bus in sight. Bliss.
2. Torok Beach — With an Essential Stop at Amber Resort
Torok Beach is big, raw, wide and beautifully quiet. If you’re melting, starving, or need to pretend you’re in a travel magazine, stop at Amber Resort. A cold drink, ocean breeze, and comfortable seating never hurt anyone.
3. Bantar Kawan Viewpoint — A Scenic Must
From Torok Hill, continue to the Bantar Kawan viewpoint, where the coastline folds into dramatic shapes and the sea stretches endlessly. This is the spot for lovers of wide-open nature.
4. Head Toward Pantai Nambung — The Road Gets Fun
At Montong Awan, turn left toward Pantai Nambung. The road might look like the entrance to a dragon’s nest, but don’t worry — it’s worth it.
5. Nambung’s Sea Waterfall (At the Right Tide)
Pantai Nambung is home to a natural wonder: a saltwater waterfall created when waves slam into coastal rocks and explode upward.It’s dramatic, noisy, splashy, and surprisingly photogenic.A short walk gets you there, but watch your step — the rocks are slippery, and we are not responsible for any unexpected swimming.
